MyFreelance

The MyFreelance script allows buyers (ie Project Managers) to list projects they need completed, and freelancers (ie Service Providers) to bid on the projects. The buyer then picks the freelancer they want to complete the project and the work begins. You take commission based on the winning freelancers bid amount.

We beleive that we have taken features from the best of the rest to create MyFreelance, using a MySQL database rather than text file systems that many use.

If you purchase MyFreelance from a reseller ensure that you have the purchased the current version, if they are a legitimate reseller then they will have it. If anyone offers you an earlier version please Report it to Us.

Requirements:

*nix web server - this has been tested on Redhat and should work on any *nix server.

MySQL Server 3.23 or above (Email Us if you need a us to host your database)

perl 5.8, CGI, DBI and LWP perl modules

Basic understanding of installing perl scripts

** Cron access to run cron.cgi for hourly updates.

** Once an hour MyFreelance does updates such as freezing projects etc, this may slow the speed at which the script loads for one user once each hour. To eliminate this speed reduction for that one user we have included cron.cgi which can be called as a cronjob. If you don't have access to run cronjobs we are offering MyFreelance users a Remote Cron service.

Purchasing

Buy MyFreelance Full License

Payment is made via Paypal, click on the 'Buy Now' button for the currency you wish to pay in and you will be taken to the Paypal website to make your payment. As soon as your payment has been completed your script will be emailed to you at the email address you used to pay with. You will receive unlimited updates automatically via email

You are licensed to install MyFreelance on as many sites as you wish as long as these sites are owned by yourself.

If you sell one of your sites, or wish to install MyFreelance on a site owned by someone other than yourself you will need to purchase 'Resale License' below. (ie if the ownership of the script is transferred from yourself to another).

Buy a MyFreelance Resale License

If you sell MyFreelance or a site on which MyFreelance is installed then you need to purchase the Resale License at a 50% Discount of the full license. This is suitable for web site designers/developers who are either designing Freelance sites for customers or designing Freelance sites and then selling them.

You need to have had purchased the Full License above before you can use a resale license as when purchasing the resale license no script is sent to you.

By purchasing a Resale License you are accepting the following terms:

You will only resell MyFreelance as part of a freelance site you are selling to or designing for a client. You can NOT resell the script on it's own.
You will only install on/sell one copy of MyFreelance for each Resale License you purchase
You will be responsible for offering support and upgrades to the new site owner.
You will sell the Current version of MyFreelance.
You will NOT receive a copy of MyFreelance with the Resale License, you will use your own copy of MyFreelance to install it.
You will NOT sell a site/or design a site with resale rights for MyFreelance.
Any Reseller not abiding to the above will lose their full license and will no longer receive script updates.

Addons

We are introducing addon scripts that can easily be incorporated into your MyFreelance script with very little work. These scripts just need uploading and are configured using the existing Administration routine of the main MyFreelance script.

There are NO Resale Licenses available for Addon scripts.

Jobs
This addon allows your members to add jobs to your site in addition to the standard and featured projects. Once installed this script is configured from your Administration screen within the MyFeelance script. Installation and configuration should take no more than 5 minutes.
Currently we only have an english language file for the jobs addon script.
